I've been so incredibly busy with school and work that I have not had any time to blog, which makes me sad. I like blogging. Right now its 1 am and I have to get up for class and work tomorrow, but not too early. Usually I blog more when I'm in school because I procrastinate so much and my blog is pretty easy to use as a distraction. Cornbread is sleeping in the living room now, so he is watching me blog. There are some pretty major things afoot in ole Jeremy's life right now. Stuff with work may be changing. I'm sad I won't get to go to Wilmington to see my Nana this weekend because of work, and I'm also sad that I turn 26 next week. Geez. I started this blog last year right about this time. Isn't it crazy to think that I've done this a whole year? On and off admittedly, but still...
I really would like to keep this going at least another year. I make so many weird promises to myself that I feel compelled to keep. When I started smoking (at 15) I always promised myself I would stop when I was 25, at the time a fairly unimaginably long way away. So when I finally turned 25 I did it. It took me a few months, but I am comfortably calling myself a non-smoker. I'm at a very unique point in my life now (isn't every moment though?) where I am questioning some of my early decisions about things, and questioning what influenced the decisions I made about likes/dislikes, religion, music, exhibitionism (let's face it, that's what this is...). I just keep coming back to the fact that I enjoy it, and that's enough for now. But then again, I enjoyed smoking too...

I'm So Tired
I drank too much caffeine before my 7:25-10:10 class. Now I can't sleep. I have to wake up early to take Emi to the car place to get a rental in the morning before yoga/meeting to determine future/computer purchase (for someone else)/collapse/work from 2 to close. Sigh. Keep me in your thoughts. The new Tallest Man on Earth album is incredible. I don't know how this guy doesn't have a bigger fan base. He only gets better and his lyrics are amazing. I'm for bed.

A Very Much Delayed Vacation Blog 8 and Epilogue
So on Friday, the day before we came home, Emi and I went to Broadway at the Beach (as we always do at Myrtle). We enjoyed a 3D move at the imax that tops almost every imax movie I have ever seen. It was called Sea Monsters and was about dinosaurs that lived in da ocean. The film was made all the more thrilling by the child behind me. That actually was not sarcasm. This kid gasped and was excited at all the parts I was, and could get away with loud oohs and aahs. There was a delicious (sarcasm here) meal at some crap Italian restaurant, multiple squished pennies, a crappy knight (embedded in a brick) from Magiquest, and a roll of quarters spent feeding the giant fishies.
That evening Emi and I went down to the ocean during the full moon and I swam in the sort of calm water. We walked down to the end of the beach where I fell into the current of the intercoastal waterway. Emily thought that was hilarious. We came back and read for a bit before hitting the hay.
On Saturday we woke up and had a leisurely breakfast before packing up all the tons of stuff that we brought and heading home. The ride home was nice. We stopped at Sonic and had some disgusting food. The best part of the ride home was that Emily drove, so I got to play with Cornbread the whole way home.
Epilogue: We got home (it was wonderful) and I started school. Emily's car broke down, we had dinner with Dad, Mitch and Anna, and I STILL haven't gone back to work. Life's pretty weird. But fun. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to fix my hand. Yay.

Vacation Blog 7
Not much happened today, just some relaxing. Emily and I slept late and then went for a swim in the ocean for an hour or so before coming back to the condo and swimming in the pool for another hour. I devoted the rest of the day to reading and bunny petting while Emily went and hung out with her Sawyer friends. We ate lasagna for dinner and then I read more while Emi watched Buffy. Tomorrow we head out to Broadway at the Beach.

Vacation Blog 6
Today was awesome! Emily and I slept in and read most of the day. It was rainy and wet so we did not venture outside much. Eating and reading an playing with bunny was the order of the day. Then at 4 we headed to Medieval Times! It was a total blast. There was much cheering and yelling and indulging of (sort of gross) food. Our knight lost, but we got a t-shirt, commemorative cups and programs, cheering banners and a photo of me as a knight and Emi as a fair lady. Whew. On the way back we stopped for allergy medicine and a tiny corncob pipe. What a great day.

Vacation Blog 5
Today Emily and I woke up and headed down to the pool for an early morning swim. Unfortunately the pool was still closed. We came back and had some breakfast before hading back out. By that time the pool was open and we splashed and swam. Then we came in and had lunch. Are you noticing an eating/activity pattern? Me and the Cornbread had a few hours of snuggling while Emily went down to see her friends. When she came back we had delicious Asian Burgers for dinner with crudite and some homemade guacamole. It was scrumptious. I forced Emily to watch a few episodes of COPS while she put together a puzzle and it rained outside. After the rain this evening we went and swam in the pool for an hour before showering for bed. Now we are just chillin' in the house and reading. No pics. I'm lazy.

Vacation Blog 4
Emily and I woke up this morning and packed up the bunny before heading out to Myrtle Beach. The ride down was very nice and the beach is not half as crowded as we thought it would be. The initial vacation settling period of unloading the car, settling the bunny, buying groceries, etc. is never fun but was finished quickly. Now we are just about to have some dinner and then go for a swim this evening. I have TONS of photos, but the wireless here is hard to pirate so that may have to wait until we get home (at which point there will be a huge photo blog). Hopefully I will be able to work on some brickfilms here and will post those if any get done.
*****UPDATE!*****
Here are some of the battleship pictures, as well as a picture of a puzzle Emi put together after our evening swim and shower. The Cornbread is enjoying himself immensely. I realized I brought way to many books to read, but will do my best to add some notches to my reading list. More tomorrow.

Vacation Blog 3
Today we got started late because Emily and I slept in. The four of us headed out to see the battleship, stopping on the way to check out a catamaran and to drive by the port (there are some very cool and enormous cranes). We also stopped to get some coffee downtown in a nice little coffee shop where the additional shots were $.25 (which was also the price of a handful of chocolate covered coffee beans, yum). The battleship was way cool as always, even though I can't even imagine life aboard the ship. Only 10 men died on her during WWII. Even though there was a torpedo strike below the water line that blasted an 18 x 32 foot hole in her.
After the battleship we went downtown to Nikki's to have lunch. It was delicious. Emily enjoyed looking at all the stores downtown, especially Blackbeard's Bryde, where she enjoyed all the things that she loved about Light Years when it was open in Greensboro. I enjoyed having some coffee, the boats outside, and seeing so many people tooling around on bicycles.
After that we came back to Dad's house and ate a delicious falafel dinner. Cornbread acted up and tried to eat everything in Dad's house, so he stayed in his cage most of the day. Tomorrow we head out to Myrtle Beach to the condo to bsorb some rays and totally veg out. I plan on getting some serious reading done. Emily may meet up with a friend of hers in Myrtle Beach, but Cornbread and I will eat twinkies and read on the faux leather couch to our hearts content. We may try to rent bikes for a day and ride around. I'm having issues uploading photos right now but will try to add some later (or maybe on tomorrow's blog).

Vacation Blog 2
We went out on Dad's boat today. Emily got sick. Before we went boating we went to flaming amys for burritos. I'll put up more pictures when we get to myrtle beach. Having a wonderful time and eating delicious tabouli and hummus.
Sorry, I wrote the first part of this post on the nintendo ds, so it is understandably brief. I'm on the asus now, so I can manage to type a little bit faster. We are really having a great time. The weather has been beautiful and we have eaten such delicious food. It was really cool to show Emily the room where I stayed when I went to UNCW and to show her some stuff. I took tons of photos (I got a 1 gig sd card to use for the asus but never seem to keep anything on the computer that needs it, so the sd card was repurposed as a trip camera card). Having the 1 gb card means that I take photos constantly now though. I suppose it improves the chances of getting a good picture. Emily is fast asleep beside me and all is well. Once we are home I may try to put up more photos. It isn't like many people get on here to see them, but I usually post the best ones and it makes me happy to go back and be able to see them all picked out instead of having to fish through tons of other pictures. The bunny loves Dads house and runs around getting into trouble. I only hope he doesn't eat or break anything. Tomorrow we might try and take the ferry and maybe see the battleship.

Vacation Blog 1
Hello everybody! I'm typing this on Emilys new ipod touch. We are in wilmington now. I'll write more later.
This is the more later. We had a pretty uneventful ride down, although we did run into a little trafic. Cornbread seemed to be okay (but very scared) on the ride down. He perked right up once we got his cage set up at Dad's house. I think tomorrow we are going to look around the UNCW campus and then go sailing. It seems like it's going to be a pretty fun day. Hopefully I will have some pictures up tomorrow.

My First Brickfilm
Okay, so I know that this is not very good, but here is my first lego movie. I did it in about 10 minutes (it kind of shows).
Here is my second attempt at stopmotion. It took about 5 minutes (which also shows). I'm getting better though!

Fun
Cornbread got his head stuck in a tissue box. I'm not sure I've ever laughed harder in my whole life.
Here be my kick ass new thumb piano.
Here's Emily all excited the night that Breaking Dawn came out.
